Carla’s Story

I was a stay at home mom until my youngest was in third grade. Then I started a new career in teaching. I thought I was gaining a sense of freedom again. Something I lost as a stay at home mom.

The tragedy was I ended up in a new trap, with new players, who I had even less control over. I stayed stuck in teaching, thinking I was giving back to the community. The reality? I threw my own kids under the bus to take care of other people’s children.

Over a decade later of working a minimum of 60 hour weeks, and longing for my summer job of working for the local parks department, I finally realized this was not what I envisioned. I was now stuck somewhere else.

Leaving teaching was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Teaching was not my job. It was my identity. I had to find myself.

Who am I?
Who should I be?
Who can I be?

So my journey back to myself began. It took several years of searching, until I finally remembered who I was.

Not the person I used to be.
The person I was supposed to be all along.
A returning to who I really was.
Not as a wife, mom, teacher, or coach.

I’m talking on a soul level.

I’ve been on this journey for a while and continue to walk the path. I would love to help you step into your authentic self.
